Testimonials

“When you work in the VUCA world of elite sport & staff performance teams are always looking to mitigate injury risk & maximise performance little things make a huge difference.

I first met Jonathan 20 years ago where he helped in the rehabilitation of a premier league footballer. I soon realised his skills could be used not only in rehabilitation but to help mitigate the risk & maximise performance & availability to play in others.

It’s not only his professional skills but he has excellent soft skills in dealing with elite performers/practitioners but also his adaptability in dealing with all ages of the general public…I know as I am one of them!

Every person counts for Jonathan & can’t recommend him highly enough for any biomechanical issue & if he doesn’t have the answer (none of us do) he will be able to recommend another pathway – the definition of an expert in my view.”

“I have been using the skills and facilities of Jonathan and his team at White Rose Clinic now for many years. I have been involved with many Football Clubs at all levels, from League 1 to Premiership and up to Internationals. They have always offered and delivered a first-class service and excellent communication throughout their work. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and any follow up queries have been dealt with immediately and efficiently.

All the team have a lovely manner about them being able to work with players through to management and above, explaining things in an appropriate fashion with their personalities shining through.

I would recommend Jonathan and The White Rose Clinic to anyone at any level. They are friendly, professional and provide an unparalleled service.”

“We were introduced to Jonathan by a friend of ours – a fellow two wheeled enthusiast!

Our son, Charlie, had been running everyday in January 2022 and the start of February.  He had developed shin splints in one leg and was struggling to walk, let alone run!  On a skiing holiday these shin splints became unbearable and he was forced to rest and to ice his leg.  We contacted our friend (who knows what to do in all medical situations) and he recommended Jonathan at The White Rose Clinic.  Jonathan was great with Charlie; he tested his gait and used heat pads to see how Charlie’s feet impacted the ground whilst walking.  He moulded insoles for Charlie’s feet and recommended specific trainers for Charlie to purchase.  Charlie returned to University in Newcastle and also saw a Physiotherapist Jonathan had recommended.  Within a few weeks of both physio, insole wearing and moderate exercise, Charlie’s shin splints had disappeared.  He visited Jonathan again a couple of months later and his insoles were tweaked.  Despite running most days, Charlie no longer has shin splints!  Brilliant!”
